Canadian Grand Am National Meet
Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba (Cruise Capital of Canada)
Dates: July 6-8, 2007
Possible Events:
Friday night - Dinner and meet and greet
Saturday - Beach day and then hit up a club
Sunday - Car show in the afternoon, cruise to another show for dinner, then hit up Portage avenue to Advance Electronics (Manitoba Grand Am Club sunday night hangout)

It's really too bad only Winnipegers know of this title...

I only know of it becasue I'm from Winnipeg and still have connections there... I laughed when I first heard the self-dubbed title.

A few years ago I went out to Winnipeg and managed to get there the day of a cruise night. I went out with my Camaro. I got honked at a lot with people asking me how I liked it out there cuz they noticed my plates. {chuckle}

If I could, I'd do the ride again in a heartbeat with the GA. Hell, if I could resurrect my Camaro I'd make a run. THAT was a fun drive. *kicks back and dreams of that drive*

What was REALLY cool abaout winnipeg when I last lived there was completely differnt...

1995/1996:
No local race track
+Way too many HI-po cars & musclecars

Rotating "secret" street racing on two lane city roads leading to the dumps.

I was informed of the location once... it was pretty cool... even if you couldn't see the end of the race.

It was a combination cruise, race ect... far from residential areas, and of no danger to any other people.
