I went to change the bulb in the 2000 ga and it didnt work. I dug into the problem and look at the rust on the board. Guess the water is leaking in somewhere so bad that it ruined it. I cleaned most of it off and its working now for the time being.

Looks like you should keep your eye out for a cheap/ broken replacement. Since it is electrical, it will be hard for the corrosion not to come back. I'd spray it with a coating to slow it down.

Yeah I did. I cleaned the rust , sealed the tail light really well, and sprayed it pretty good. We are ordering the TYC taillights and Ill just get a replacement then if I need it. I know on my DSM I didnt need that piece when I ordered them. It just plugged into the hole. Im not sure about these, meaning if they come with that piece or if I will need to find one. None the less, they cant be expensive from a used \wrecked car.
