View Full Version : Quick question...
I'm hooking an eletrical up to the battery...There was nothing really to hook the wire up to the positive terminal, so I put the wire in where the screw goes into the battery...is this okay to do? Thanks.

I wouldnt reccomend it but thats just me. I Dont know too much about the elec. aspect but I wouldnt do it. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will post soon to answer your question.
Yeah, I wasn't too sure myself but there's just no other place/way to hook up the wire...anyone have any suggestions?

get yourself one of these, or use the secondary post that you'll find at the fuse box under the cover

If you mean you stuck the end of the wire into the threaded hole and put the bolt back in... Than I would say no, thats not a good idea.
If you have a 99+, take the cover off the under hood fuse box. There is a bolt with a wire on it that comes from the battery. Put a ring connector on the end of your electrical thing your putting in and bolt it to that bolt. MAKE SURE TO DISCONNECT THE NEGETIVE CABLE FIRST.
Brilliant..thanks guys...I didn't even know that positive connection was there!
