Brake Dust >:)

i was changing my brake pads for the first time on my ga and i noticed that the old pads were that semi mettalic material (not ceramic) could this be why i was having some serious brake dust ... im talking like if you looked hard you could almost see my silver rims ...factory rotors by the way

That or you just need to wash your rims more often.

All pads will throw some amount of dust. Rand is right, you need to clean your wheels more often. :)

Back when i had ceramic pads and stock rotors if i didnt wash my car/rims for 2 weeks my rims turned black with brake dust.

Now i have cross drilled and slotted rotors with semi-metalic pads and the brake dust isnt bad at all. But i also wash my car once a week.

i have carbon metalic... but i only have to clean the wheels about once a month... mainly because she sits in storage so much she doesnt get dirty drity or miles put on her....

duralast gold put out very little dust :)

on my ranger. not sure what i have. but i cant drive 15 feet with out 8 inches of dust:(
