GB: 96-98 CF trunks from JSP

Ok so after a week or so of the poll being up, it seems that most people would prefer my style of trunk. So i've been in contact w/ JSP and here's what we need:

People who are interested in getting this done. They are asking for a $50.00 deposit upfront. These should be in before the 07 show season kicks off. I have to take my trunk down there, it has to be shipped out to the mold / manufacture plant and then made and then they get shipped out. Total cost is $349.95 + shipping (& tax if you live in NY). Shipping is hopefully going to be thru UPS, but may have to go air freight based on size of the item and box. Either way, I was told that shipping would be at least $30.00 cheaper if sent to a business if air freight has to be used. So if your work accepts packages, or you got a buddy who's work does, have it shipped there.

So, if you are interested & willing to put a deposit down, please add your name to the list. I'll have this thread up for about a week or so, then I will post contact information for whom the deposit has to go to, etc. If you have any questions please ask me here or in a PM, and I will either answer them, or get an answer for you w/in 24 hours.

yeah well the difference between AED and JSP is that when I ask for something to done, and ask for I time frame, it's delivered within that time frame...

Notice that hood you got from them? That's mine, and it took them like 6 weeks from time of drop off to delivery. I get 8 people to put down on the trunk, and it'll be ready by April at the latest (obviously we need to get peeps together before determining the arrival date)

Yeah i know when i ordered my hood the people were mad nice and they told me, that my hood would be delivered and it was here on the day they said it would be here...so i know there will be no problems with this company...thanks for stepping up and getting this made too man...Have you contacted Wes, i know he wanted one before.

Here's the problem... it's now show season so I don't really have a way to get them my trunk as I need it LOL

so the topic about these CF trunks came up in one of my posts... add my name to the list and see whats good with that, wouldnt do toooo much for weight reduction but its be a nasty look too so im down, i wont throw 100 percent of the price in but id make a down payment on a prototype... PM me if ya want and lemme know whats gonna happen with it if anything... I wasnt planning on making any purchases for the GA til towards the end of the winter though... but either way lemme know and Ill see what I can scrape together...

indirectly, but no actually... I was banned because I threatened Darren (SikMindz) with the idea that I would fly out to Cali, beat his ass and then sue him for the plane tickets I had to pay for. Apparently you can't make threats of violence on a public board

At the exact time I had said it, I meant it... but it was related to aed in the sense that I was being pro aed and defending them, etc... In any event we are way past that and all is well

Just a heads up to anyone viewing this thread... Tonight I need to get my car ready for my retune tomorrow. Once that is done and the car is drivable again I need to get some shit out of my garage and cleaned up, get the trunk off call Linda and pm everyone to give an update as to whats going on so stay tuned over the next couple of days

It is not going to hapen. I talked with Aaron Er, president of JSP America and since they do not sell direct anymore, only to retailers, it is not cost effective due to a low amount of them being sold. They are really into selling 500-1000's of them to people like JCWhitney and Keystone. They are now into selling to dealers for their wing market. I am sorry, but I tried.
He and I have been in contact due to them making the hood for our years car.

On to plan #2, another carbon fiber manufacturer.
