ok, i just got a strut tower brace that I bought from someone on ebay. He sold his car and took all the mods off. How do I go about putting it on. I see there are three bolts on the top of each strut tower but if I take them all off will it hurt my car??? do I need to do anything else. I guess what I am basically asking is if I take off all of the bolts will my wheels fall off? also does an alignment need to be done? thanks for any help you can give...

no your wheels wont fall off. the 3 bolts hold the strut in place. you should be fine taking off all 3 bolts. if the tires are on the ground then everything is compressed.....so nothing ill fall off;)

Thats the sucky thing with having a STB. As you know now, its not to terribly difficult to put it on, just unbolt the drivers side and tilt it up to get to the master cylinder.

WhoIzzIt who makes the three-point strut tower bracket?? The one that attaches to the cowl plus the shock-towers.

Have never seen that, but I have always felt it would be more effective. Now you got my interest piqued. :brows:

I mounted the clutch reservoir about two inches below the STB. I can get it open and filled without removing the bar. Maybe you could move yours, or just keep removing the bar when maintenance is needed.
