somebody give me some insight please...
i have a 98 GAGT and the miles are starting to inch to 75,000. i'm going to need to do shocks and struts in the near future and i wanna handle a little better. I DON'T want to lower the car. I'm planning on STB from somewhere. other than that I'm open. any suggestions?

Why dont you wanna lower? Your already in there and you will have to remove the springs anyways. Drop springs are relatively cheap.

yes but i live in MN. granted this winter has been nothing, snow is a big issue and the car had tended to high center w/ just the snow we had.

You can get sprint or eibach....they have the shortest drop. Intrax (I have) has the lowest drop for our gen. It is hard to get STB's for the rear since Z-Spec doesn't sell them anymore. I am happy I got a front and rear set. Enough with the rambling...... If you really want to notice the difference here is what i recommend (I will be doing the same):
- lowering springs
- stb
- upgrade front sway bar and purchase rear sway bar
- replace shocks, struts, and strut mounts
- replace bushings
- replace control arms
Any more suggestions???
