When registering for a free account on our forums, we are asking that you fill out your profile information as completely as possible. We now manually verify each new registration, and having those 'optional' fields filled out is a great way to distinguish yourself as an actual person, rather than an automated SpamBot.
Why not make those registration fields mandatory? Simple. If we make the fields mandatory, the automated spammers will simply fill them in as well. By keeping the fields optional, we further reduce the risk of SpamBots registering active accounts.
We apologize for this inconvenience, however we must work to keep these spammers off the forums. Please help us out by filling those profiles in at the time of registration.
Should you have problems with registration, you may send an email to register@gaownersclub.com making sure to include your Username.
As always, a valid email address is required to complete the registration process. AOL email addresses are currently not being accepted due to mail delivery problems.
