Hi, I have a 2003 Grand Am GT, and have a problem. I AM NOT A CAR GUY, so I don't really know what to do. My back sub is makin wierd noises not crackling (my friend says something is bouncing around in it). This has been going on for a week or so. It's not loud but just noticable to make me mad. Is there a way to pop the screen off the speaker and get? I'm sry for wasting your time with such a pitiful question haha. HELP ME PLEASE this is really annoying me!!!

Unscrew the Sub from the Box and fasten anything that is loose

This is the stock Monsoon system? There is no sub if that's the case.
The "sub" that was referred to in marketing for the craptastic Monsoon system was just the fact that they used dual-coil/bi-amped 6x9s on the rear deck.
You can't take the speaker off from the top grille just like that, look for the tutorial/how-to here on the forum for replacing your 6x9s and it will tell you how to get to them. You have to remove the rear deck. You can just replace the speaker that is messed up with one from a wrecked GA (junkyard) or you can get new ones on eBay for $75 or so. Either way it's a waste of time/effort/money IMO, but if you just want to get the stock system going properly again those are your best options (if it's the speaker that's damaged).
