im not sure if this is the right section to ask this question but I need to know if it is possible to yank the motor from the top on these cars? im tryin to avoid the whole subframe pull and what not , btw DONT EVER PUT A NON BALENCER PULLEY ON UR MOTOR!!!!!!!

why? they are internally balanced engines. The chances are pretty slim that the pulley alone caused your engine to fail.

He is correct. The 2.4L LD9 engine is fully internally balanced.

It was probably due to bad tension on the belt, or a compltely unrelated problem.

its not the balance factor of the pulley , its the fact that the pulley doesnt have any type of vibration absorbsion on it , our stock pulley has that rubber bushing inside of it to absorb the vibs from the drivline or accesories or whatever, the aluminum pulley lacks this, there fore the vibrations get absorbed by the bearings. and like my motor it starts knocking.
