PFYC- PAC iPod Connection Interface ???

Anyone have this installed?...or ordered it from them?.. any input?... $189??? are they nuts?? seems kinda pricey... but i really want it ...

I don't have experience with the PAC one, but metra has something similar. I guess it works alright. I just didn't like the fact thatit only had the track # and track time on the display. It made it pretty hard to navigate the iPod if you didn't know the tracks off the top of your head. It did what it was meant to do. charge the ipod and give it clean sound through the OEM stereo.

Hopefully PAC's is better.

if you dont mind me asking, how much did you get it for? and from where?... also, how does it hook up to the HU?

It looks like that includes the box and the car-specific harness, so probably why the price is a little high (you could probably still get it cheaper no doubt) but just explaining why it's higher than usual. (Usually they are sold separately I believe.)

Do you have Monsoon in the new GA or something? Just wondering why you're so intent on keeping the factory HU. I've never used the PAC one before either, for more details I'd go to PAC's website. Check out eBay or similar for better prices. If it's still expensive, I'd think about not using the factory HU as for the money you could be replacing the HU and getting an aftermarket unit with an iPod interface built in, or using the aftermarket company's iPod interface.

im just picky... i like the look of the stock HU, putting a aftermarket HU just makes the appearance of the car look cheap IMO... btw i dont have the monsoon...
