I say go for it, but what type of amp are ya lookin to go with? One of my buddys has a L7 15" (the older style) with just a crappy 2000 watt Legacy amp that he got for like 80 bucks, and it did hit pretty hard. Could have been a lot louder with a high end amp.

Yeah as mentioned above, just make sure you get a real 1000W amp and put it in a proper enclosure. You really can't go wrong with the L7 so I'd say it's a good idea ;)

I think the L7's only require something like 7 or 800 rms...I forget Ihaven't been to work in close to 3 months. lol

i run an alpine digital 1000 watt amp to each of my L7s and it sounds spectacular.

rms on the new 15 L7 is 1000. so the 12 probably is around 750 or so

rms is about 750. sounds cleaner on the 1000 and is still far away from peak.

01_grandam is correct i got mine a year a go for 300 a piece from a guy that was being shipped over seas and couldn't finish his project. Onlinecarsterio.com is your best bet i got my 4-channel from them. And if you have an alpine headunit you can amp-link.

onilink67 Did you get that Alpine amp link from onlinecarstereo? I was looking for one and couldn't find it.

i shop onlinecarstereo as well. I love the shipping deals. I don't think CVR 10s are Head turning bass, considering they cant handle a huge amont of power. 2 cvr 10's with 300 watts each sounds great inside, but won't impress people outside of the car.

there is no reason those should have blown with only 150 watts each to them.
