decals

why do some grand am gts have the decals on the sides of them and some dont i have a 2003 grand am gt and it doesnt have the thing on the side saying grand am gt and i have also seen other ones that dont have it whats the deal with this and can you get the decals for it anywhere?

Im not quite sure but i do believe after 2002 GM only put the badges on the Trunk and the Fenders, 99-02 have them on the Fenders,Trunk,and Doors, correct me if im wrong?

Yup you are right. I had a V6 badge on front fender, Grand am on the doors and then on the trunk.

most people take them off but if u want them go to grafic works look up am earlyer year 99 + and u can get them and put them on your self

i have a 2002.5 and i have them only on the trunk, and the ram air v6 one on the front fenders, but im taking them off next weekend lol

my buddy has a 02 grand am gt SC/T and he had badges on his fender, door and trunk. But then again that might be a exception becasue his was a SC/T

It changed in 2002.5. That is when they took them off the door. So if they were built before the halfway point they have the badges. If after the halfway point they wont have them on the door.

yes so if u got a 2002.5 and later u had no door badges and micky mouse mirrors instead of the nice dual posts

doesnt matter if it was an sc/t or not... all that was anyways is the hood and rear spoiler..... the rest of the parts are the same as a gt...
