On the other hand, Lucas is as good a brand as there is, and I've never known them to make snakeoil.
It *might* 'recondition' (soften) the leaking rubber seal (if that is the problem) enough to hold you 'til spring or you sell.
For $10, "100% guaranteed or your money back", you might as well try it.
It can't hurt (well, it can; it might soften the seal so much that it just plain BLOWS  ).

Stopleak products work great (sometimes, depends on what broke) as a bandaid to hold you over tell you get to see your mechanic, do it yourself, or if your waiting on your next paycheck. Just dont expect it to be anything of a permanent fix, but if you just need a quick bandaid for now give it a shot.

went to drive at 9 pm and started the car and what did i hear thats right the windy noise. when i put regular fluid in it took a week for that too happen. but drove 20 miles and it stopped i dont think it went dry. maybe its the gooeyness takes a while to pump through in cold weather ill check it in the morning. hope fully its full if not then ill keep filling it till summer when ill replace the pump.

It's an 8-yr old car, mebbe 100k miles.
You got good service out of that component.
Buy a GOOD replacement, and enjoy life again.
Good luck,
