brakes/ rotors

ok well i have a (99 grand am gt). and about a week ago i heard somethin grindin on the right side of my grand am.... i thought it was ice on the wheel wells cuz i had brushed some off the other day... and a week went by and its still doing it so i had my dad look and my brakes have no pad left and it grinded my right rotor....

i heard all u do is take the tire and brake catapilar off and the rotor should come right off... am i forgetting anything???? if so please tell me...

You will have to take the calliper mounting bracket off too, but you can leave the calliper attached to the bracket...just make sure you have some wire or something handy to tie the calliper up in order to prevent strain on the brake line.

Buy better quality rotors and be sure to properly torque the wheels.
Use lithium greese to lube the slide pins. Make sure they slide freely
