cams and supercharger

when getting a supercharger is it a necessity to get cams for it or is it just a bonus because someone told me that you HAVE to get them.. and where would u find cams for grand am's at??

yeah new cams are not needed

The most common thing to do is called the secret cam swap. It's cams out of 92-95 quad 4's... higher lift and longer duration. I'm not sure of the exact years for which cam you will need, but a search for secret cam swap should point you in the right direction

yea new cams aren't needed,dont even listen to that statement. BUT they do help with power gains though.
