Do you have new covers? or are you sewing in new panels?

Do you have an ulphostery machine? This might be left to a pro. You might be able to trade for cash to someone with cloth interior and have new full cover installed

Yeah my parents own a upholsterers machine!! So they can sew the leather for me! its just getting the seats apart.. I'm going to go to the junk yard and get a seat to see how it comes apart before I start on mine..

I think you'll only need to get hogrings and a hogring pliers. Having some j/y seats may be a good idea. You'll need to have the seats inside where its warm for awhile before you attemt this. You could install the old ones to drive with if you car is still on the road

I used nylon wire ties instead of hogrings when I put my seat back together and it held 100% for 2 years (well longer but I only kept it for 2 years so I cant say what its like now). Ever tried pulling apart or breaking a nylon wire tie?

They snap easily if they are in the sunlight. They're good for a year or two. Under a seat, they should outlive the car.

I have a question about this as well. I have an 88 Grand Am Coupe, and I am interested in two options: 1)Replacing the cloth front seats MYSELF with leather, two colors or 2)Having a professional do the front buckets and the rear seat as well, 2 leather colors. How much would this cost to have a professional do it and where can I find someone who will?
Thanks
