As everyone will undoubtedly agree, the GAOC continues to expand with an ever-increasing membership and currently shows no sign of stopping. Keeping this in mind, with a rapidly growing site, you also need additional people to help run it. While it is true we are blessed with great Moderators all who all have the willingness to maintain the atmosphere we expect while visiting the GAOC, it is also true the site is now demanding more than what Shawn and I can easily provide in terms of daily monitoring. In this regard, we are more than pleased to announce that Matt (Matt95GT) will now be assisting us in a more in depth administrative function.

What does this mean? In short, you should not see any difference other than Matt is now officially third in line when it comes to handling the site. In other words, Matt will be involved in the majority of site decisions, be responsible for the existing Moderators and the daily workings of the GAOC.

Now, does this mean Shawn and I will not be around any more? Of course not as the GAOC is, and will always be, a very large part of our lives and we have no wish to not be involved but by dividing some of the responsibility, we will be able to more fully enjoy our visits without being over burdened with increasing numbers of administrative tasks. We believe this addition will be a tremendous benefit to the GAOC and look forward to working with Matt knowing his great knowledge, patient demeanour and commitment to our Community will further solidify us as being the largest Grand Am specific forum on the Internet.
