Hey i have a 95 GA GT thats an auto and i hate it i was woundering of there is any things i can swap in thats stick shift.

The engine is a 2.3L DOHC 4. If anyone has info please let me know.

Yes, an Isuzu 5-speed was a stock option. The Getrag found on 92-94 GT's with the HO Quad 4 will also fit. You'll want to locate a donor car in order to make this feasible... also be warned that some cutting/welding of trans mounts may be required.

Im not 100% sure. But i dont think anything will just bolt up without at least a little bit of fabrication.

Someone with the experiance will chime in and let you know for sure though. Good luck to ya.

No... your car was manufactured for use with the auto trans it has now. It's not a simple bolt-in. I know of someone who did the conversion, and had to do some fabrication work in order to mount the manual trans. On top of that, remember that you'll want access to the donor car for things like the clutch pedal, shifter assembly, shift cables, etc. Some electrical trickery is also required... or you won't be able to rev over 4K RPM.

don't know too much about the 95 but my 2000 finding a transmission was the easy part. Junkyard runs for the cables, k-member, ecu, shifter assembly, and mount are nearly impossible.
