Yup get night shades. Its rather expensive but its worth it. I just did it and it was a PITA for me because I kept trying to do too thick of a coat and screwed it up.

You could try SMOKE OUT TAIL LIGHT LENS WRAP KIT

ebay - 230015204416

I don't know how it would work with the GA ridges.

I dont know how well that would work with the ridges either. It was hard enough to get the paint right much less getting something to mold around it.

:agree:

I have used NiteShades on many different things and it works great.

Niteshades alone will have a dull finish to it. I cleared over it with a few coats of VHT High Tempature clear coat.

Do a search here on the forums for Nite Shades and you'll find alot of helpful tips.

that film is what i used on my led tails, i recomend it, just make sure to get big enough sheets, the more you stretch it the lighter it gets.

Black mesh for tinting tail lights? They're not going for covers, they want the actual lens tinted.

black mesh is eh, you loose alot with it, not as good looking as tint IMO.

for the price, buy the bulk material and DIY it, you'll have better fitment that way.

I was thinking the same thing Rick. The ebay stuff is twenty bucks less and that's shipped.

I was way disapointed with that... I bought mine nearly 2 years ago.. And the film was WAYYYY to thick.. Not even a shop could get it to lay right.. Wasted 50 bucks

What size did you buy? I'm looking at the 12 x 24 inch.
