install bypass valve

If i do get a CAI i want to avoid at all costs getting water in it cause where I'm at there is occasionally huge puddles of water that are unavoidable. Is there a certain spot in the ducting of the CAI where the bypass valve should be installed?? The only one I found yet was the AEM.

Only reason why you only found one company that makes them is because they are pretty much worthless unless the filter is completley submerged in water.
