what type of resistor do i use for that cheap way to get horsepower. i know this is stupid but my buddy wants to know about it

basically the resistors just bypass one of the sensors that the ECM uses to control injector pulse / spark timing.
it kills your fuel economy, and the car wont run as it should.
wouldn't say it increases horsepower either.. its mostly just a cash grab.

just pull the plug and you can see what it will do. nothing! You dont need that resistor unless you want it to shut off the light the resistor dosent do the mod it fixed the light the mod messed up other then that you can just pull it and it will do what its gonna do and throw a code here and there. but its all b.s. you will probly end up going slower and maken a mess with thick exhuast.

I guess you've never seen all the "why does my 2.4/auto run like crap and shift hard/jerky?" threads. You can't just unplug the IAT on a speed-density fuel managed car.
