96-98 Grand Am mid size GT1 Spoiler

Hi this is probably been asked before and I suppose I coulda asked AED about this but they seem to take their sweet time in responding (3weeks and still no response) Well anyway I hope somebody can answer me this and I know this is a total newb question but can the 96-98 Grand Am mid size GT1 Spoiler fit on my 93 SE? thank you for your time.

But seriously i dont believe the wing fits on your type of year but then again i am a 99+ guy

in simple,no it wont.

but if you drill new holes in your trunk lid then yes. But the AED spoiler pedestles that mount to the trunk,were ment to follow the curve of the 96-98 so you might end up having to do some shaping to it as well.

They have a spoiler that is for the 92-95,might as well go with it.

there is no point in trying to modify the pedistals to fit, cause it just won't happen. As Ryan had said, they are curved to follow the trunk. The pedistals they use for the 99+ wing are the same they use for 92-95, so you can get a 99+ and be ok :)

I looked at the 93-95 and its that huge azz spoiler a little too big for my tastes.

You can get the low wing if you dont like the high wing.

ummm, they make the same wings for all year grand ams. Just a matter you want the low or high one. So if you dont like the 92-95 one your sure not gonna like the 96-98.

I agree....The pedestals seem a bit too tall.

Check the curve on the two different years and see how much work is necessary. You may get lucky...assuming that you're ok with drilling.

Joe ure not making any sense.... Here's how aed breaks down the wings

-You can get a 92-95 short or tall wing.
-You can get a 96-98 short wing. You can create a tall wing by molding the lower part of the 96 to 98 pedistals to the upper half of the 99+ pedistals... this is nice cause now you can create your own height
-you can get a 99+ short or tall wing as well

I would just use the Wings West wrap around spoiler like I use on my 1995 SE

Thats the point I was getting at kinda. What I was trying to say was that all the wings are the same design so If you dont like the 92-95 you shouldnt like the 96-98 cause there the same thing. The only option you have is low wing or high wing.

no what I mean is I like the style..I just dont like the height of it ..it seems to come up to my roof and thats way too high for me..iunno I wont bother with AEDcentral for awhile...I got other things to do with the car first..thanks anyway..

The wing you have in the pic was the first 92-95 high wing. You can get the low wing like I used to have (click sig pic, and go to my old pics page on cardomain) or like peyman has / had

Best way to get ahold of them is to call, although I don't speak with Len or Susana anymore, I can tell you they will call you back if you leave a message. The biggest thing with them is that it's just the two of them, and you have assclowns like eddie (1badgto on aed site) who call and pester them all day for no reason other than to be hella annoying so alot of times they have to screen their calls. Also Len's dad died last week, and he was HUGE part of their company so this is not only a bad time for a son to lose his father, but for the community to lose a good man as well.
