i picked up my Brembo drilled sport rotors. but i still need pads for em. desiding between the brembo pads or the Hawk pads. i can get the Hawks thru AdvanceAuto (maybe) but i gotta wait till they open to call them. or i can get the brembo pads for about 75 bucks total on tirerack.com. looking at about 86bucks for the Hawks @ advanceAuto.

Brembo Pads (http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/brakes.jsp?make=Brembo&model=Sport+Brake+Pads) (same page that comes up when searching under grand am)
Hawk Pads (http://www.hawkperformance.com/performance/hps.php)

i've seen folks in here sayingthey got the Hawk pads, thats a point for the Hawks.

Hawks are my preference. EBC's are good too, lasted 3 years on my Cavy.

The hawk hps pads are great. I've never felt any fade and with the power slot rotors my car stops far better than stock. plus if you stop hard backing up it keeps the rear breaks adjusted and the pedal firmer.

hawks are also cheaper too. but the green and red's have "undercar digest top10 products of 05" tags... lol. wth is that?

well, after talking to ppl round here and all, i desided and ordered the RedStuff pads. give them a week or so to come in, then the car goes on jack stands out in the parking lot... lol. got my trucking holding the corner parking spot. lol

I went Power Slot and Hawk. The only reason I look back is to make sure I'm not getting rear ended!!

I've never used Red Stuff. There was one guy here who did (forget who) that said he preferred Green Stuff and would be switching back to Green.

I put EBC slotted/dimpled rotors and EBC red stuff pads on my 97 GA GT. It stops on a dime. No fade. Make sure to follow brake in procedures and properly torque lugnuts. Lugnut torque will affect your rotors.

yea, read the lil card that came with the pads. sounds like thats gonna be fun. and i desided that i will paint the calibers red. got the Dupont paint kit. should even have enuff paint left in the kit to redo the rear drums.... if the weather holds.
