1st off...let me say, i'm no "body shop" technical, guy...i can install a stereo properly (i hope) but i am not very confident about taking off panels and all that.

When i first got my 98GT, i took out the factory deck and actually had someone else install a tape deck. I was tired of installing/tinting and finally could affort to just pay. Needless to say, i'm ready for CDs now. Problem, i am very sure the installer cut the wires that lead to the deck, and I don't have the connector.

I'm sure I could probably find the wire cluster (or whatever) in a junkyard. But how bad is getting to it going to be in my car? And what about reassembling? I'm not afraid to say that i'm a bit jealous of that mod dude that's got his dash out and (I believe) trying to put it in his truck. But I don't got those skills. I'm afraid that's what my s*** will look like when it's time to put it all back together.

In my own defense...i put the tape deck in cuz I record music and wanted to hear my music "with tha bump in the bak". At the time I could only mixdown to tape.
