Rayz’s Second Annual Lupus Flea Market

While everyone’s energized with anticipation of Albany 07 I’d like to take this opportunity to solicit your aid in collecting items for this years annual Lupus flea market.

For those of you that are unfamiliar with the flea market we were able to raise over $150.00 dollars last year for the Lupus foundation of America (http://www.lupus.org/newsite/index.html) . Lupus is a debilitating disease that affects friend’s relatives and members of GAOC.

The Flea market is held annually at the Albany Show & Shine and also on line.
What I’m seeking are donations of parts, accessories or items that we would be able to sell at this year’s flea market.

If you planning to go to Albany and are able to make a donation or are able to pick-up a donation from someone who is not able to attend Albany 07 Pm me and let me know. If you’re unable to attend and would still like to donate items of sale please PM me and I will try to arrange a pick-up.

I will be in the Dayton OH area in mid June if anyone has a donation small enough for me to fit in my luggage I will gladly pick it up personally, additionally I’ll buy you a beer or coffee.

Thank you in advance for your help and cooperation and to GAOC and club EMC for supporting me in this annual event.

Ray I have a couple of stock GT air boxes (no ram air shrouds) I can donate and a K&N drop in filter that needs to be cleaned.

I'll look for more items I might have laying around that are worth something to someone.

I re-donated the leather wrapped GT wheel I bought last year... never did find the audio controlls for it, so I made vinal block outs for the holes which look pretty good in there I think... but never got it mounted, and dont plan on it... so I passed it on to JMILLS when he was in Moncton to put back in the flea market !

i used to have one on in my wagon from teh last owner. i took it out and misplaced it. but there is certainly good money for them on ebay :)

UPDATE: the original thread about my deals with lupus must have been pruned. but i just found out today that my aunt has been diagnosed with lupus and unfortunately it is affecting her lungs. so she is having some troubles now and she is on prednisone. she isn't blood related. so my prayers are with her

Hey Rayz, quick question on the flea market. Are you looking for just car parts or what? Both myself and my friend have a large amount of random computer parts (monitors, keyboards, mice, etc...) that we're willing to give away if you'd like to try to sell it. I'm working real hard right now to find a way to get to Albany in July, but I'm not sure what's up just yet.
