are the components in the back 6x8 or 6x9s and should i get 5 1/4 or 4x6s for the front what sound better

Well the speakers in the back are 6x9's. Sorry but I can't help with your other question but I am sure someone will.

There is a TON of info all around this forum and the web for that matter, try a search for 4x6s here and see what comes up. The short answer is that round speakers (5.25s, 6.5s etc) are almost always going to sound better than oval speakers (4x6s, 6x9s, 6x8s etc).

The stock speakers for the Monsoon system are dual input 6x9s in the rear, 4x6 plates in the front doors and small .75inch tweeters in the sail pannels, amped by a small Monsoon amp in the trunk behind the carpet on the driver's side.
