This topic has been covered before but i have a few questions, some answers will make me feel better about attempting this retrofit.

Ok so here is the plan. I want to convert my Auto Dynasty(black) headlights into Dual projector housings. The products i have chosen are a bit on the pricey side, but i am going for a quality setup. The plan is to run a low beam and a high beam projector in each housing. I have been experimenting with fiberglass and am starting to get the hang of it, thanks to a friend of mine who has years of experience.

Products being used:
Low Beam Projector (http://www.hidplanet.com/package.html) Top of the list is the setup i have my eye on.

High beam projector not yet decided.

Now i do not have any experience with projectors, and here are my questions.

1. Will I be able to splice the existing head light wiring to support a high and low beam projector?

2. Would it be possible to make it so both the low and high beam projectors are on at the same time while the high beams are ingaged.

3. Those of you with experience in doing this was it hard to set the projector housing in properly for proper alignment?

I know this might end up costing me the same if not more then the AED projectors available. But it would be unique and a learning experience. I do have the need for the extra light output as i travel 60km to work and back in the dark all winter and sometimes in the summer. If you feel there is a cheaper alternative let me know i will take it into consideration. If all goes well and i have some extra money lying around i am going to retrofit a set of those low beam projectors into my blazerteck fog light housings.(if wiring permits)

search on HIDPlanet.com, plenty of how-to's and wiring diagrams for almost everything... i found a wiring diagram on how to wire up my e46 bi xenons perfectly, but it did take me an hour or so to find it.

I would get a pair of OEM or aftermarket headlights. I believe the Auto Dynasty housings are aluminum and that may make it harder to work with.

You could get a fogged set and swap in the lenses with the clear corners.

same, or similar, material as stock, but it is more of a PITA to take the lense off of those. Doesn't just cut away like stock does, i bought a cheapy soldering iron w/ a chisel tip from walmart and used that to melt through the goo.

i did duals in my headlights but i only wired them for low beams with both projectors on (even though they are still bright like high beams)

and maybe someone can correct me on this, but i think high beams have a different power output. i know i tried to wire my highs but they were extremely dim so i didnt even bother. i didnt feel like getting a voltage meter to test it either.
