96-97 GT to SE inst cluster interchange?

Have someone interested in the instrument cluster from a 97 GAGT. Will it work in a 96 GASE? TIA Pete

should work since theres no digital display that would be model specific. Why do you want to tho? theres no real differences. Other than the GT's never came in stick,and the SE's did so the little shift light will be on the SE cluster

I had to go to the junkyard and get an instrument cluster from a GT, the only diffrence is the shift light like Ryan said, make sure you do the passlock procedure for it too. Basically leaving it in for 10 minutes or so in the ACC position so it can register the new cluster.
