Does that mean i can get a 70 VLT tint put on? or 30?

If it clearly says "more than 70" then 70% is still illegal, right? Is it just a typo or is that the actual law?

Well technically more than 70 would be fractional, such as it has to let 70.~1 so 70 would be allowable since it's impossible to measure infinity and the sensitivity of the meters are finite.

I see what you are saying though, if it has to be more than 70 and you measured in whole numbers your tint would have to be 71.

It's things like that that makes it so that in America you are actually a year older legally one day before your birthday.

70 is like nothing, dont waste your money, Ive had 35 on all side windows and rear for almost 2 years and ive never been stopped for it. I guess it depends on the area

I have 35 on my sides and rear, and its hardly noticeable. Never had an issue yet. The installer was going to put 20 on, but I didn't want to risk the hassles.

North Dakota has a law of 50% on the front drivers windows. I think this summer im going with 50% tint. I know its not much but the State Patrol here is tuff on the tint laws here.

indy is 35... i run 5, and 30 on the windshield.... ive only had the slightest hint of a suggestion that my tint (without the cop saying tint) was illegal.

Hey thank you thats exactly what i was looking for. I'm in GF too, did you get yours done at tintmasters or do it yourself?

Actually i'm gona get it done over at Team Electonics on Demers Ave. The guys over at Tintmasters are good but, i know the guys personally over at Team. Besides the guys workin over at Team Electronics all used to work at tintmasters. Keep me posted on what your doing. I'll send you a PM to exchange email addresses.

the Police here wont touch you for having tint on thats to dark, but the state patrol will.

Cool, i may have to give them a call instead then. Probably sometime next week, i've got tests every day this week, then my friends are coming up from the cities over the weekend.

I have 13% all the way around...and I'm going over the rear windows with 2.5%. I'm starting to get bothered by the cops now....but its not coming off so I don't care. It seems like once you get pulled over 1 time for that..they have your car marked. I generally just roll the front windows down if I see them sitting anyway..then they don't know.

Yeah, i wouldnt sweet it in buffalo. They dont seem to bother anyone really UNLESS its like 0% tints (which you cant see through) i know a girl that has those. but she lives in the inter city (Where cops barely even go AT all i see a cop down my street WHEN NEEDED and it still takes about an hour lol thats buffalo poilce for ya, But ill tell you what. first word of drugs and they be there in seconds lol.. But uhh.. yeah just dont get it tooo dark ya know there pretty lea-net with tints. anywayz ima send you a private message about tints, i wanna know the prices around here.

Well i'm not too worried about that, i want it to look good which is why i'm doing this, but i'm sure as hell not going to go so dark that my visibility goes completely to hell.
- Scott, you must not drive around much near campus/south washington huh? I would have remembered seeing a GAGT around here that nice. I've only seen a few nice GTs up here.

I do drive around but not alot. I live close to campus and the places i do drive is down washington and on campus :-) I am triing to remember what Team had quoted me on doing tint on the side windows and the back. I think it was like $200.00 with a life time guarantee.
My last car i had 5% on the back and 20% on the sides. State patrol stopped me the 1st month i had it on. Plus with the back that Dark i had a hecht of a time seeing to back up, and to see who was behind me. I'll never go that dark again, even though it looks nice.
