Hello guys and gals.
Im having some issues with ly LED replacements for my
parking/turn signals.
I now understand that :
Answer:
Is the replacement an LED bulb being used with a flasher module designed for an incandescent lamp? LEDs won't activate the load sensing circuit, so the module never initiates strobe!
Ok .. is there a fix for this problem?
Maybe a relay or some thing ?
:???:

Replace the thermal flasher unit with an electronic one. EL12 (2 pin) is what you'll need. There's 2 flasher units, so have a look at my posts in this thread for more info:

Your local auto store should stock them... found mine there for about $7-8
One more thing... be aware that the way the 2 front signals (in the bumper) are wired, current has to flow in a bidirectional manner. You may have some difficulty if trying to use LED's there.

The 2 units you are talking about,
1 is the turn signal
the other is for the 4 way hazards?
If its 2 sep relays for turn signals ie Left and Right,
Where are they located?
I thought I only had 1 located in the comand controll
mod. With the door chime and hazard relay all located
in the 1 unit?

1 flasher is for the 4-way hazards, the other is for the turn signals. The turn signal one is the important one here.
The one on the "convenience center" (with chime, etc) is actually the hazard flasher... the turn signal one is clipped down lower. The easiest way to positively ID the right one... turn it on and listen/feel for it.

lol .. oK I lied.
It is not in the command controll mod.
It is on a sep harness kinda tucked behind the radio.
But it doesint matter if I turn left or if I turn right.
The clicking only comes from 1 relay.
Now .. My hazards still work with the stock relay
in.
So .. hypatheticaly .. I should only have to replace
the turn signal relay with a EL12 relay to make this work?

Yep .. EL12/HD12 did the job.
The guy sold me it for $8 at cost because he felt bad
that he sold me the Led lights knowing that I might have problems with it.
