Hit & Run

Last night, I went to a concert and on the way out of the parking lot a guy hits me in the rear and I hit another cars' bumper in front of me, then the guy who hit me speeds off and I got no info at all. Is there anything my insurance company can do?


So.....how much would it be to replace front bumper, headlight, and passenger front quarter panel?

I got an estimate at $800.

I will buy either new or used.

Depending on your coverage, your insurance should cover it. However at $800 damage, and probably a $250 deductible, you're probably better off to skip the insurance and just pay out of pocket. :(

$800 sounds like a good price, it cost about $1100 to have my front bumper alone replaced including labor and cost of painting to match the car but it was all covered by insurance.

I had the front bumper cover replaced/painted under insurance as well, and the bill came to a little over $1100. :(

Mine is in such rough shape from scrapes and such I'm thinking about dropping my deductible to 100 and hitting something...lol

Yep, if you drop your deductable, then do something like that immediate there-after, they'll get suspicious.
