got a stock 94 spoiler and was wanting to know what is the best way of setting up the holes for the spoiler to stay strianght. and once i got it in place and bolted down, do i need glue to hold to the trunk or can i just bolt it and silicone around the edges for a seal. any help would be greatfull.

look in the trunk there may be braces with holes already in them, so that is a good guide. If you have no holes in any braces then you will have to locate the L-R center and how far front to back it needs to go. No one wants to scratch their car, so go give it a good bath, and dry off the trunk with a towel made for drying auto finishes. Then apply blue painters tape to the whole area, this includes the vertical surface. I would not use a sharpie to mark your spots, because they bleed through, use a pencil, just don't press to hard.

It may almost be cheaper for you to go get a trunk w/ a wing on it, and sell the wing you bought. Or go parking lot shopping... and by that I mean go find another car just like ures and take some pictures so you have some reference points for your install. Ultimately the only difference between a trunk w/ a wing, and no wing is the holes you drill in. It would be best to drill holes, and double sided sticky tape around the bottom of the pedistals to ensure a tight fit so water doesn't seep into your trunk

The 99+ trunk lid has a inner and outer skin. There are openings in the inner skin where the spoiler holes line up so you can get a socket wrench on them.

Your lid may be the same..
