Looking to install a stock spoiler (I am assuming I would have to drill holes) on a 99 red Grand AM SE 4 door.
Its in mint shape, and Im getting it sorta cheap (4.5 grand).
I might also install hood scoops.
I was just wondering what the prices to buy and install each of these would be?
I deff need the spoiler, the scoops could come later or not at all, but I want a spoiler bad.
I would rather pay a professional to do it, because I don't wanna http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_censored.gif my car up.
anyone know what the prices would be to buy and have a professional install the two?
Thanks :)

Recent thread selling a 99 GT spoiler, never used. Asking price to start with is 90+ shipping.

What color car and where in NY are you? You might be able to swap trunk lids with someone.

Thanks guys.
its a red car,
im over in syracuse
i might be able to find a trunk lid at a junk yard and switch it with mine if its in good condition.
cars pretty much perfect condition, so if i could find one nice enough at a junk yard i could pry buy it.
(Thats much easier then just buying the spoiler right?)

If you can get a trunk lid that matches your paint, then yes it is easier. It's a matter of just bolting it on, but I'm not familiar with 99+ models... is the trunk release on the trunk itself or the lid?

Yes, and you don't have to actually drill holes in your current decklid, nor do you have to worry about drilling the holes in the wrong locations.

Remember to swap key locks while you are at it. I bought a black spoiler for mine as being a base car, the trim is black already. It would be easy to mount the spoiler but after seeing that the spoilerless trunk is easier to brush the snow off, I'm going to do without. Not being far from you, I'd be willing to sell it and help you locate the spots to drill
