Ok, So I took 95GTs words of wisdom and made myself some blue fog lamps haha. They wont work of course in foggy conditions and are strictly for show.

Now the story starts with my fog lights burning out, I went shopping for new ones, and found a nice set that offered a duel feature (Dog and blue glow show lights)
They wanted 65$

Instead going the cheap way, I purchased 4 Hyper LEDs.

Drilled out the bulb of the fog light (Leaving the fog lamp housing and everything in tact) and placed 2 LEDs inside each housing.

Now, I heard the Hyper LEDs burn out quite quickly, and thats fine because it wasn't allot of work to jimmy rig in this setup. Spliced and wired together all 4 LEDs into a harness, and ran to one single line with straight edged connectors.

Instead of splicing the fog lamp wiring, I again took the cheap way of jsut sticking the connectors into the existing plug for my fogs, works like a charm. A little electrical tape to secure them in palce, and its good to go.

Pictures in next post.
Oh yea, I tried as best as I could to align them to my liking and straightness.

The plug idea I mentioned above works good, if I just want my grill neon bars shining, and the blues to be taken off.

I should of bought red LEDs for the fog lights, now that I think of it...

Yeah, blue and red don't mix well. I would have either used blue in the grill, or red in the fogs.

But thats just me, it's your car. You can do whatever you like.

Landon, the blue led's don't look bad. But, I don't know about Alberta, Canada...but if you had them on around here in N.Y. you would get pulled over. Blue is used for emergency vehicles-NY State Police, County and Local Police, Fire Dept's, etc. So, I would check with local laws before using them!

Yea haha, they are illegal here.
Anything that draws attention to your car is actually illegal here.

But it was a cheap mod, and I was bored, Might change the Color scheme here shortly, put some Red LEDs in place.

Someone told me that anything after market placed or isntalled on a vehicle is illegal around here, Im not sure if thats true. If so, then my exhaust, stickers, floor mats, and headlights are breakin' the law.

How about this (Didnt want to start a new thread)
Is there a factory or after marker bulb that just clicks into the OEM fog lamp housing?

This way I can still use my wiring harness, and it would be easy to switch the lights to make them work again. I know there are a few, but unsure which if any would work on out fog light housing, and our wiring harness.

Something like this?

Probably, guys like tenspeed (Jim) and so many others would know. And if you can't get the bulb itself to work...modding your own light bulb and assembly should not be to hard in place of the oem light.
