would a 2.4L engine from a 2000 grand am fit into a 2002 2.2L grand am?

bc my 2000 is totaled but with great mileage, and i found a 2002 with a lot of miles, so i was looking for a swap

Not worth the trouble - both engines will physically fit, but share nothing in common in terms of wiring, PCM, etc.
