Would this work? I'm pretty sure i remember seeing that the two headlights are different, but i can't seem to find it now. Basically i want to get some headlight eyebrows from custom grand am for my 95 but i don't want to order it if they won't work.
Also what would you expect to pay to have someone install those, plus tint on my car? I know i should do it myself, but i'm like 4 hours from my garage.

those are vinyl and most likely would not look right. Why,because the 92-95 Grand Am headlights are 2 piece if Im correct. The vinyl would be going over a gap and would look funky.

Oh, well thanks for the save then. Now that you say that you're right, i didn't even think about that.

no problem, didn't want you to get something and find out it wouldn't work:) Im sure there are some alternatives but Im not sure. Hopefully some other 92-95 GA people could help out with an idea

Only real thing I can think of is to manufactuer your own in order to work with the 2 piece headlights. Maybe try something in photoshop.

yea fiberglass something wouldn't be out of the question, but can be a little difficult to make from scratch, not impossible but takes some time and multiple tries

Hmmm, yeah i'm not sure how that would look on a 2 piece, may be an idea i will have to save for my next car. I just figured i'd get it done while the tinting is getting done.
Ryan i think i see ting on yours, how dark did you go?

I went 30% on the sides and 20% on the back window, dark in some angles, but light in bright sun.

did someone say swap 96-98 front clip onto a 92-95 :D all you need is the hood, headlights, bumper, and fenders!!

Yeah but who would want to ruin a perfectly good 92-95 style front end and make the car ugly like that?

Thats basically what I did too except for mine are all 30% except for the windshield. Trust me 4576foxtrot, 30% sure is dark for me at night, I have a hard time turning on some of my streets that don't have streetlights because of the tint. Even during the day it is fairly dark at certain angles like Ryan said.

I'm done with my semi-off topic comment, haha.:P

just know where your going at night, lol. I usually don't go to to many places I haven't been before, meaning roads, parking lots, etc. If I have to go somewhere I haven't been before,I just take the Ford Taurus, shes a champ, lol

It's only vinyl, go to a sign shop and pick up a few peices for a couple of bucks and cut your own.

I'd expect to pay nothing to install them. I think everyone here, unless they have a loss of a hand, can install vinyl.

Haha right.

I just drive with the drivers side window cracked about halfway down when coming around a bend to my street so I don't hit those joggers that love to come out of nowhere.:P

Lol, yeah definitely won't be going that dark.
As for installing, well the directions said they go on the inside of the assembly and it's just like tinting (requiring a heat gun/garage, i have neither right now).
Haha, as for an entire front end swap, well that seems kind of uhhh expensive just to get my 20 dollar visual mod on haha.

I'm 99% sure you can put them on the outside of the light assemblies without a problem. The right vinyl and proper care will make them last many many years. (5 to 10 depending on material)

Hmmm then that may actually be a possibility.
I'm not very knowledgeable on vinyl (i.e. i know jack), so if you could tell me a bit more i'd appreciate it. What do you mean by sign shop?

Vinyl is basically a heavy duty sticker that is rated for outdoor use (e.g. vinyl siding on houses, etc.) and adheres the best when it is warm out, not firey hot or ice cold.

Before application you clean the area you are placing it. I just use water and a paper towel and then dry it. You then take the sticker and put it down on the surface pushing from left to right or from top to bottom. While doing that you need to push out any bubbles that may appear, however the smaller bubbles will work their way out of the vinyl over a short amount of time in the sun.

Most people say let the vinyl sit for 24 hours but the other day I put some overlays on and about 6 hours later it started raining out of the clear blue and I almost crapped my pants. No peeling though so I guess it is all dependant on how well you install them. Oh and when you wash it you have to gently go over the area of the sticker so that it doesn't peel off.

You mentioned something about Customgrandam.com, I haven't checked out their eyebrows but I know a lot of people like to custom make their own. The only thing I can see the heat gun good for is to make sure it adheres the strongest to the headlights. They talk about it on there as if it is some sort of film which isn't vinyl.
