Sorry there is a ton of pictures, hope its okay. If you want to see more pics from today you can look at my album. http://s58.photobucket.com/albums/g253/grandamgtblk99/After%20Detail/?start=all
Here are the badges before with just reflective overlays
http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g253/grandamgtblk99/My%20Car/Picture049.jpg

Heres now with vinyl badges reflective black with reflective orange outline. Looks a lot smoother. Also can see my reflection in the paint now.

You're helper is a cutie.

Have you considered making a grill kit in black?

What type of tails are those? They look less extreme than the ones I've seen on Ebay. I like them. I'd like to see a photochop to see what a light tint would look like on them. It might not work though, part of the beauty is seeing the tails and tint might look cheesy.

Thanks foxtrot, yea they are a great addition.

b2089 thanks for the comment, they are the tyc tails in black. They come in chrome, carbon fiber, and black, I think black is by far the best and they look so dang good. There is the bullseye style ones and I can't stand those.

Ive been debating about a grill kit, havent made a decision about it yet. So it's possible.

edit: what about orange in the hood inserts?

GtAudioFreak

I actually have the orange inserts for the hood.they are still sitting in my garage.. but i looked at them i thought they might be kinda too much. But I still might try it sometime just to see what it looks like.

I don't really care for the orange spoiler but I absolutely love the orange accents on the black car because you don't see that combo very much. Very nice!!

Thanks, I see your from Indiana, where at?

I'm going to guess that the orange spoiler looks better in person than it does in pics. Some things are like that. The GTO for example looked like plain crap in the preview pics but when it came out it was sweet. I'm sure the photography experts could explain it.

Dude, take my word for and end the debate. Get some black grilwork for the front of that car. I'm not crazy about the grill in my cars nose piece, but the one in the lower part is a must.

I think orange pin stripes down the center ditch of the hood would look better. Racing stripes like classic hot rods used to have. That might be too much though.

Looking good, not sure about the orange spoiler but it's different.

I agree, get some gutter gaurd, paint it with black rustolium spray paint and install it. Being black you won't notice it as much but it will hide the radiator stuff, not to mention help protect it from rocks and large bugs.

I've already got the 80 series.. How much did it run ya for the cat and the 2.5 pipin?

GtAudioFreak
04-13-2007, 09:22 PM
cat was like around 60 and the pipe plus labor was 175 after tax. But i had a really hard time finding someone to do it. 2 said they couldnt make the bend around the axle and one said my car was too low. Finally found one. I had one quote of 155 and another one for 300. It was crazy the price different by just driving around. All in all I spent almost $450. The tips are stainless so they were $60 each. $91 for the muffler.

Looks sweet . . . we'll have to do a northern Indiana meet this summer. I'm in Michigan City and I've got a few friends in Fort Wayne with GA's ~

Cool, look in the regional section under midwest we always talk about getting something put together and the more people there is the better chance we'll have of doing it. But even a small meet would be cool, i like michigan city and fort wayne, so im up for driving whenever and wherever.
