Windshield Adhesive 2002 SE1

2002 SE1. Whats the recommended adhesive for installing the windshield. I've done the old gasket type, but never the "glue" on type. Someone told me its a hot applied adhesive. Others have suggested other products. Anyone know the correct product and where to get it? Thanks. Tater

I use a rope like lenth of adhesive that I get a NAPA. Atobody suppy places should also carry it. Though I never did a GA

When I had my '96 windshield replaced, the guys had a big tube of black stuff in a caulking gun. It took a day for it to harden. It didn't look like they heated up but it was a hot summer day.
