ENGLISHTOWN 2007 Pontiac Nationals

So a bunch of members decided to attend the 2007 Pontiac Nationals at Englishtown this year to be told at the gate that the show was canceled due to snow. Now I'm no weather man, but WHERE WAS THE SNOW? It was a beautiful day minus the cold wind. Instead of turning home we deicded to stay and race. heres some of the pics enjoy.

Out of the 11 GA's in attendance, 6 1/2 were Silver now that Mike's is 1/2 Black now :lol: 9 were 5th Gen, 1 4th Gen, and 1 guy rolled up early with a 1st Gen, did anyone get pics of that???

Tom, won in our class. his best time was a 15.1 I came in second with a 15.6 . the conditions were good out, though the track sucked...

Making fun of my depressed headlight :argue: thats what happens when projectile trees hit parked cars lol. The rims have been a secret since august glad that they have finally been at a "show" lol. BTW headlights will be fixed soon with new housings and 1200K HIDs.

Actually there was a hell of alot of people there we just didnt take pictures till the absolute end of the day. Even with the large amount of people that did show up there were still many many others that got to the gate herd about the show and then turned around and went home.

Outside of the rare times that you show up I think I always get the "oldest GA in attendance" :lol: Matt's usually a close second with the 95. There was one guy who showed up with a 74 GA. He wasnt with us but me and mike did talk to him for a long time, I ended up giving him a GAOC card and he seemed very interested in the albany meet.

Yeah the guy was from some town outside of Poughkeepsie, so it would be a far drive for him. He seemed interested like I said so lets hope he shows up.

he sounded like he was high and lost in the sauce. he told Joe and I like every car he ever owned and what was wrong with it. that guy must have been a stoner. he told us about a bumper he fixed and how one day he had long hair and it got cought in the end of a drill. he thought something fell on his head but his hair was in the drill. :lol:

Sucks they cancelled it. As it was, I still kinda wish I brought the GA to race, but still storing it in PA and I really did need to sleep in on Sat morning after a long week.

damn i wish i knew ppl were still goin....i heard it was called off so i didnt go...i would of still went if i knew some ppl were still goin...would of loved to get some times down on my car and raced and just chilled out with ppl....looks like some sweet GA's were there

I donno about that one. Stock Vs. Stock my car is about 300 pounds less then yours. Now Im not sure how much weight you actually ended up loosing with the gutted interior but I think I might have you in the weight class. Untill I get in it anyway. :lol:
