OIY. Is that a custom job? Cause if it is, bravo. It dosen't have to look good, It just has to GO FAST.

Yeah that cone is shot but who cares awesome job man! By the way katie that wrap is called heat wrap, lol its to keep the heat from the turbo manifold away from the intercooler piping.
Peace,

I'm trying to think about how many people are going to see his engine bay when they are still on the line and he is 100 feet ahead. ;)
Very nice man! :D

That looks like exhaust wrap, Katie :P Keeps under hood temperatures reasonable and in some ways aids in spool time... Does look like an ace bandage or something though :D

Yeah unless that kinked rubber hose gives out under pressure then a stock Dewoo would pass it.
Credit for fabbing up your own turbo setup but I see alot of room for improvement. Maybe starting by replacing the connect hose from the TB with something steel or aluminum. Easy enough to pick up some prebent exhaust tubing.

the tube is not kinked it just looks like it in the picture....doesnt really matter if that tubing is rubber or aluminum....does all the same thing but yea i kno wat your talkin about...thanks for the advice

well when a tubing is applied a certain pressure (In this case, lets say up to 12psi) which is quite a lot, your coolant lines are under 15psi usually, and those have to be quite rigid. If a hose/tubing is old/worn it can easily give out when enough force is applied -- but definitely gratz in the custom work - its not easy, especially in THAT engine bay.

67 GTO, that would be a nice damn car to get a good performance setup on.

/\ I agree with the 67 GTO idea... 455 4 speed throw on some aluminum heads, posi, and a few other "minor";) mods and that thing will be a good time. ... mmmm

not a bad idea either... on an old v8 i think i would rather have the blower sticken out of the hood for the charger, but the turbo will give ya more room to grow
