Are you gonna stain your vinyl black to match your vents?

Looking good man :D , did you string those from a rafter or something and spray around them? I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to move mine around so that I can spray all around the outer shell of the ring.

good job!

As far as painting vents, yea, hanging them with either a hanger or some kind of string is the best way so you can get 360 degree coverage

Yea.. I was looking to do that but I just put them on a peice of cardboard walked around in a cirle while spraying... then I sprayed right on top in a circle... I thought this would be better because only the top ring is showed in your car. I taped off half the plastic and went nuts painting, lol.

I'm assuming your car is red hence painting the outer rings red, I painted mine as well but I didn't paint the inside vent, Just the ring. Pic of what I'm talkin about.

My car is black. I'm seeing how much I can paint the interior without looking too crowded...any ideas?

you could do what i did with my 01 elantra sedan and 02 elantra hatchback. figure out what color you would really like to match the color of the car with (sedan was gold with a blue theme and hatch was black with red theme). go all out with the paint and dye... the only way this works is to have matching lighting as well. i had all blue lighting in my sedan with black carpet and headliner (died from tan) with chameleon paint on teh interior trim and black dyed door panels (from tan as well). with my hatchback i was a bit more conservative: just the trim parts in the center console and door panels red with all red lights...

with a black GA i would say go blue, red, or green (i would shy from green but thats just my opinion). get the vent rings and center concole pieces red or blue and then go to www.autolumination.com and get the interior bulbs to match.

ive done a lot of interior and audio work in the past and have done some crazy stuff (as you can tell from my ramblings) but i would do this, but at the same time, make it look conservative. dye/paint red/blue with black as the main focus color and have red/blue lighting to accent the alternate painted pieces.
