I have a '00 GA 3.4L. The gas gauge does not read right, well it does until you get close to empty, then it go back up to full and down to empty, and float around in the middle. Has anyone else seen this, and is there an easy fix, compared to getting into the gas tank?
Thanks,
J

I had issues with my gauge too, I think that the whole assembly IS in the tank though...

Which must mean that you would have to change out the entire thing huh?

There was some talk about sulfer in the gas leaving deposits on the resistor that gives you the read out.
Try some injector cleaner for a couple of fills and use your trip odo to remind you how many miles are on the tank.
