I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am. I recently received this car from my father. The little box that is the LED clock as well as telling you what radio station you are listening doesn't work. I have checked the fuses and all seems ok. The radio works it is jut the LED that is not functioning.
Is there anyway of correcting this...short of buying a new radio? ANY ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
John

I fixed mine by opening the radio and cleaning the bulb contacts

Thanks for the post. I think maybe the bulb might be burned out. You suggested opening the radio and cleaning the contacts/replace the bulb. This is the radio that came with the car. How do I open the radio to get at these items?
ANY assistance would be appreciated
Thanks

Same thing, bad contacts. Unless of course your display dimmer is turned down
