whats to all. my headlight switch keeps going out . this is my 3rd one in the past 2years. what could it be???

Bad design. Very common failure on the 94-95. Replacing with new (not used) is the best choice, although eventually they wear too.

You can take it apart and clean it up. Be very careful since there are several springs which are loaded and will pop out. It worked for me.

I wouldn't waste time cleaning them. Of the combo switches I've cleaned, I only got another month max out of them.

yea i got a uncel that is a machanic at dave gill pontiac. im just going to have him get me a new one.

Might be cheaper to go ebay route. GM made switches tend to be heavily priced.

You'll usually get used/pulls or parts store junk on eBay. The GM switches aren't that expensive without all the dealer markup. From GMpartsdirect.com mine (with cruise) was about $70. The dealers wanted $120-130 with their markup. (the non-cruise version is less though)
