If anyone is interested, I am planning to go check out the "Lot" this Saturday Night. They meet at the Mc Donald's parking lot but IDK what time they start to show up. I do know they are there around 10 PM.

Let me know if anyone from here is going to come out so I know to look for ya.

We are gonna try it again, this time there are a couple of GAs going.
This Friday night we will meet at the Advance Auto on State St. here in Schenectady at around 8:00 - 8:30 PM

I was there at 8 on Saturday and was able to get a spot to park fairly easily.

Hey I was at that Advance Auto Parts store today.. buying tire shine. haha. Are you talking about the McDonalds on Central Ave? Theres a ton of cars there on friday nights and the weekend. I've been there a few times myself with my Z24.

Yep, Weather wasn't great this weekend so the turnout was low. Maybe next weekend will be better.

I was there friday night with my friend and saturday night for a little bit with my Z24. Wasn't nearly as many cars on saturday night as there was friday night though. I showed up at midnight on friday night (well saturday morning but lets not get too technical here) and there was a TON of cars there still. I was amazed. The main parking lot was pretty much full, and there was still a bunch of cars in the kohl's lot too. Saturday night was dead pretty much.

Anyone go last night? I was there for a little bit. There was a shitload of cops around... they never were there before. They were kicking people out and everything. Wonder why... ?

I was there and I did see CPD but I didn't know anything about them tossing people out:???: Maybe they were tossing the knuckle heads in the lower lot (Unwritten rule of the lot, If you are going to race, do donuts, drag down the parking lot or just be a knuckle head then stay in the lower lot. If you are going to behave yourself and not do anything to get us tossed out of the lots then you can park in the upper lot. Not my rules, just what I was told.:O )
We had a nice showing even tho we weren't all together. I was there from around 8:30 till around 2am I was parked next to Mark's C.H.P. Black and White. I won't be there tonight do to other commitments but weather permitting I WILL be there next Friday Night around 8:30 PM (ISH!).
If there are going to be more GA there with me we should get there early so we all can park next to each other. Maybe we should be there around 8:00 so we can all get in a line.

No. We got the boot about 2 or 3 weeks ago because of a few knuckle heads that thought it would be cool to race on Karner Rd.
They were talked to about it then a fight broke out, I started to go and break it up until the MoFo's broke out baseball bats! I said F*** this and called CPD. From what I understand I wasn't the only one on the phone with them and they ended up arresting 3 people.

We have a new location that is even better but there are RULES in place that everyone MUST adhere to.
1) The manager will NOT tolerate anyone being knuckle heads I.E. NO BURN OUTS! He will toss you if you do and you will not be allowed to come back.
2) You must clean up your own mess.

I'm sure there are more but I don't know what the rest of them are yet.
The new location is Latham Bowl on Rt. 2 about 1 mile east of the Abortion I mean traffic circle on the left hand side.

Can you let me know when you will be meeting? I work near there and would like to meet other Grand Am owners. Mine is all original, she's got a little rust, leaks water in the spring, and has almost 106k miles, not much to show off, but she is a Grand Am!

I know people show up on Saturday nights & you don't need to own a GA as this is just a regular bunch of guys and gals that have hot cars and like to show them off.
Tom (gagt518), Don (pontiacboy) and a few others from here show up from time to time, I just found out where everyone is meeting so I'll start to go there on a more regular basis.

My GAGT is stock for the most part and doesn't win many trophies (none to date, only been in 3 shows) but thats not why I go to the shows, I go for the enjoyment of it.

As for the time, I'm not sure when everyone starts to roll in but I think around 8PM ish is a good starting time.

Oh yea, I know how that goes. My parents used to own a photography business as well.
There is the potential to make some money if people want to have professional photos done of there cars.
