another headlight question

OK, So I have been reading all of these headlight questions trying to figure out my question, but I dont see what I am looking for. So here it is. If I take the headlight houseing from my 01 Grand am GT apart, can i take the orange corner out myself and make it a clear corner? I never see anything about anybody doing it themselvs. Is it as simple as taking that orange paint off?

Many have asked, many have tried, no one has done it. The orange part is sealed, molded, impossible to remove, etc.

Your best bet is to buy lights with clear corners. Some have replaced the outer lens. Some have put vinyl over the orange.

Better off buying clear corners or doing clear cover swap (fitment is never perfect though.)
