View Full Version : Best GAGT in Germany (I may be biased...)

I finally got all the performance stuff I've been wanting for the last 4 years since I first brought my brand new GAGT home from the dealer. It's not much compared to alot of the gear heads here but it's pretty decent for a computer nerd like me. It's only been my daily driver since December when I bought the wife a Caravan and finally reclaimed the keys to the GAGT. Since then I've added a CAI, DHP and SLP along with some very modest appearance mods. I had a set of dual post mirrors but one of them broke and I had to go back to the mickey mouse ones. New dual posts are next on my list of parts. After that I hope to get some Eibach springs and if I can afford it down the road, a set of 18" rims (love those AT Italia Inox's  ) Most of my mods were bought from people here and at GAGT.com so in a way, this car has been influenced as much by you guys as it has by me.

I know it looks fairly stock but that's sort of what I'm going for. Until I can afford the SC/T kit and 18's it's going to look like most other GAGT's. It's when I hit the gas and make that motor purr that people will understand the love I've put into this car. 53K miles on it and not a single problem other than normal wear and tear. I'll keep driving this thing until it can't drive anymore.

Forgive the pics, I know I should have waited until dusk but I had a GoKart tournament to go to and wanted to get a few pics before all the pollen settled on it again. Enjoy the beautiful German countryside visible from where I live.

Very very very nice car man, and you having one in germany only makes it cooler :). Too bad about the dual post mirrors, those would look awesome on there.
So i don't suppose the locals see a whole lot of them over there huh?
I vote GAOTW

It looks like you don't need front plates in Germany...lucky

Actually, I am stuck with a front plate but I covered it up just for the pictures. I don't normally drive with the headlight covers on either since they are really dark at night.

The sad part is that the new rules for military vehicles is supposed to say that we aren't allowed ANY tint on the front two windows so I may have to take that off to pass inspection. I'll try to slide through inspection and hope they don't bother but the guys who inspect vehicles often act as though they hate their jobs and want to make your life miserable too.

What rules?? Is that just for your post or what?

I was going to suggest tinting the windows to really set off the blacked out look but since you aren't allowed to that kind of sucks.

Looks great, man. You should be proud.
As for the mirror thing....Mine got broke today. And... only a few weeks after I had the damn things painted. I swear...The repair gods are after me.
Anyway...I'm trying to fix it right now.

I'm loving your tinted lights but I think you should get new rims. Also, why do you have two atennas?

The sharkfin antenna is for satellite radio. He's got new wheels on his list of things to do.

I'm stationed at Spangdahlem AB which is less than an hour from the Belgium, Luxembourg and France borders.
