Just an idea. I am in branson,mo and i saw a sweet TWo door GTGA this afternoon. So i thought that if we had some sort of way of knowing if the GA you see on the road is a member or not.
So when we pass eachother on the road flash your headlights. You mght think it a stupid arss idea. Again just an idea

Different people take that different ways.

I'd say just have everyone buy a GAOC decal to slap somewhere... you are less likely to have a crazy redneck chase you home and try to look tough in your front yard for an hour. It happens...

I dont think its a good idea to flash ur high beams at random cars. Even if they are grand ams, chances are there not a member here.

Yep. A very tiny percentage of GA owners know about GAOC. The rest don't. Imagine how overloaded the servers would be if a decent proportion of GA owners came here :eek: .

The Grand Am was the Pontiac Division's best selling car when it got cut.

its kind of like the vette people. the wave to othervette owners. when i had my miata we had a wave or flipped up the headlights to each other. so thats cool

saturday on the way up to the junk yard, i was following rick and we passed a GA. i gave him a thumbs up and he responded with the same

I think we should have something. The sticker idea is pretty good. Flashing headlights isn't always the "safest" thing to do. The only time I ever do that is if my windows are up and I want the guy in front of me to go before me. But that is about it. Either a sticker or some sort of wave?:???: W/e works.

I know! Every member keep a nerf gun on the passenger seat or on the console, and when you see a GA open fire. If it's another member, they will fire back. If they aren't, then speed up a bit.

i normally wave at GAs that i see on the road, but most of them here in wise are driven by middle-older people that don't mod them at all. so if anyone is near me in wise, or back home in leesburg and you see a red ga with matching shortie antenna behind/in front of you, let me know and we can chat or something in a parking lot.

haha must be a nice shorty pistol to fit in that tiny hole, i can barely fit my bass knob in there lol :):) i definitly wont aim a nerf gun, or even water pistol at you dont worry lol.

decals would be nice, except i change decals like the wind. only ones i ever had was ONE on my rear window and ONE on my windsheild. and i change windshield banners like the wind also lol

One thing the gang members use to do here, maybe still do is drive with their brights on.

We had 6 actual cases that I know of. All happen during the summer of 2001 I believe.
We had some punks that was using old junkers and actually ramming people off the roads.
Haven't actually heard of any of this happening as of late.

well..... I guess thats what I get for not thinking before I asked the question that started this whole smart ass comments section here. LOL there are some funny remarks though. I spent the first 17 years of my life in the city of angels LA, CALI. I grew up around " gangs" Matter of fact I live in the middle of the whole gang war thing that is still going on and I NEVER I mean NEVER relized that the banger's were so bored they actually drove around town and waited for people to flash there high beams. Most of the real "G"'s never left there territorry . If this crap did go down it was most likelly some rich ass white boy ( i am white, & no it wasn't me) who got mad because he got picked on at school so he found daddy's firearm and went out to the town to prove he wasn't a pussy!LOL thats funny siht!! By the way I now have a gaowners club.com decal on my GA.

I'm up for the boobies thing. It would help to have a passenger hold the wheel... for the more well endowed girls (or guys I suppose) you can just roll down the window and toss 'em out.

here in milwaukee we use the Shocker to represent south siders or for the racing guys they use the clocks off logo which is a circle with a line thru it.

that graphixwork sticker is alright, would be cool to have a shorter form stick, like one that just has GAOC letters
