So i am driving a 94 and the wonderful Florida sun ruined the paint. clear coat pealing off the trunk and the bumper is very bad. my question now correct me if i am wrong. I wanna wet sand it with 600 grid, then clear coat it again. Now i can be wrong. Can some one help me threw the process. Thanks.

When re-doing a clear coat, you wouldn't want to do 600, it'd probably remove actual paint.

that looks like more then clear coat damage. Might need to actually paint the whole car.

If you can get access to a clean and well ventalated garage, you can do it yourself. It'd just require an aircompressor, paint gun, and some paint.
Just practice on a few scrap pieces first.
(Anyways, not that I sound biased or anything, but the color the car came in is nice ;))

hahaha do say i love the stock color i mite repaint it stock i don't know yet but i should practice on some pieces. how can i go about getting the stock color?

Go into a automotive body supply shop (I'm not talking about Autozone) with your paint color code, and they'll be able to get you the color. IIRC, the color code is on the door.

That is straight up clear coat failure, all those panels with have to be repainted from scratch, that sucks brah.

the paint code is on the spare tire cover i believe
(jus thought you might wanna know)
and if its jus your trunk & bumper....
do what you gotta do to get them fixed up right...and then buff it all to make it so that it all fits and that the stuff doesnt look newer than the rest
